Blue Zones Participants in the Beach Cities are More Sickly than Average Residents
What an interesting finding that was never publicized.
Based on this 2017 finding from Gallup (BCHD didn't pay to have the work done in 2020), the Blue Zones participants may score better on "Blue Zones" specific measurements, but overall, they are more sickly than average. This self selection of more ill participants renders the findings confusing at best, and meaningless at worst.
