BCHD has so far REFUSED to provide the Details of the Taxpayer-funded Gallup Study

Gallup has provided truly outrageous claims of RESIDENT BENEFITS from reduced health conditions. According the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Consumer Expenditures Survey, the 54,000+ households of the three Beach Cities spend an average annual amount of $260M total on Healthcare expenditures (2022 report, most recent reported year).

If all households of the Beach Cities spent $260M total, then BCHD's taxpayer funded Gallup study's claim of a 60% savings ($182M) is laughable.

We have provided a series of California Public Records requests for the details of the taxpayer funded study beginning on August 17th, 2024.

Only by transparent disclosure of the taxpayer funded Gallup study can it be properly vetted for errors and assumptions.
