BCHD Consistently Ignored Neighborhood Requests for Shorter Heights

BCHD began by proposing 60-feet tall (2019), increased to 76-feet (2020), increased again to 103-feet (2021). That 103-feet was actually 133-1/2-feet above Beryl St according to BCHD's own public documents.


BCHD has now proposed 108.7-feet above Beryl & Flagler Streets

That's Over TWICE the height of voter-killed CenterCal

That's Over THREE-TIMES the height of The Kensington Assisted Living

That's Over FOUR-TIMES the height of adjacent 2-story Homes

That's Over SEVEN-TIMES the height of adjacent single story, single family Homes


INCONSISENT, INCOMPATIBLE, DAMAGES PRIVACY, DAMAGES PROPERTY VALUES

FAILS TO MEET REDONDO BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE REQUIREMENTS!


This is why StopBCHD, other quality-of-life groups, and neighbors are headed to the City of Redondo Beach and have Given Up on further discussions with BCHD.


BCHD has IGNORED Neighborhood Input and INCREASED the Plan's Height OVER and OVER! We need a FAIR AGENCY to PROTECT US!
