BCHD FY22-23 Audit Final: 79% of All BCHD Costs Paid by HB/MB/RB Resident-Taxpayers

BCHD is only able to recover about 17% of its annual cost of operations from the customers that directly benefit from the services.

79% is provided by the three beach cities taxpayers in the form of Property Taxes, Rents from Taxpayer owned land, buildings, and businesses, and interest on excess past funding provided to BCHD.

The remainder of FY22-23 funding was from one time reimbursements and grants.
